::Programming NC IV
This course prepares the student to become a computer programmer or software developer. It consists of competencies required for developing and maintaining computer programs using both procedural and object-oriented programming languages. It also covers the whole software development process, i.e. analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and program documentation, thus equipping the student with the knowledge and tools to be able to work effectively as part of a systems development team. Sufficient hands-on training and projects reflecting real-world scenarios are also amply provided, as well as discussions of industry standards and best practices, to better prepare the student for a successful career in information technology.
::Hardware and Servicing NC II
This course trains the student to become a competent and highly-skilled cumputer service technician, computer repairman, or technical support staff. It covers competencies such as installation and upgrade of various software and operating systems; proper diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of computer hardware and peripherals; setting up and configuring computer system networks; and PC assembly, maintenance, and customization. Knowledge and basic skills in Electronics and Electricity are also included in this program.
