Nutrition Month 2011

July is the Month for the celebration of Nutrition. This year’s theme, “Isulong ang Breastfeeding-Tama, Sapat at EKsklusibo!” focuses on the promotion of exclusive breastfeeding for infants from 0-6 months and continue up to 2 years and beyond.

In line with the celebration of the Nutrition Month, LCC will be actively participating the Month of Nutrition with the following activities:

Back to School 2011-2012

All roads lead to LCC this June 6, 2011 (Monday); Start of the Academic Year 2011-2012. There will be an orientation program and welcome assembly for all: including new and continuing students and pupils at 8:00 AM for the the two campuses: Kaypian Campus and Francisco Homes Campus. There are exciting activities that awaits all LCCians! Parents and Guardians are more than welcome to join and attend the orientation program. See you all!

LET Passers 2011

LCC – College of Education bags another milestone in its history, for producing passers in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) held in April 3, 2011. First time LET takers Ms. Esmeraldo O. Alfante and Ms. Nerissa M. Pascua who both graduated Cum Laude in 2010 passed the said examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announces that 5,221 elementary teachers out of 33,023 examinees (15.81%), 35 Accelerated

Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 339 examinees (10.32%) and 7,690 secondary teachers out of 29,267 examinees (26.28%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given last April 3, 2011 in 14 testing centers all over the Philippines and Hong Kong .

The roll of successful examinees or passers in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) is published and officially released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and can be viewed in their official website.
