President Benigno Aquino III has declared August 15 as a special non-working holiday in Bulacan in commemoration of the province’s 435th foundation day.
Aquino made the declaration through Proclamation No. 627 signed by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa on July 30.
According to a Palace statement issued Monday, the declaration will “give the people of Bulacan the full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.”
