September 9, 2011,  La Concepcion College represented by the College President Hon. Francisco C. Magpantay with the CAT Corps of Cadet participated in the 2011 Alay-Lakad Foundation,Inc. City of San Jose del  Monte Chapter with the theme: “Hakbang Mamamayan Susi sa Kaunlaran”

Also presenting the Certified Tatak LCCian (Facebook liking Popularity Competition)

Tatak LCCian: Ilike (Facebook Liking Contest) is a popularity competition that will reveal a certified tatak LCCian among the five departments of the college level of La Concepcion College: (HRM,BA,Crim,IT, and Educ). The popularity will be determined by the most number of LIKES the selected ten (10) representatives from the different departments will get.

There are no restrictions, like as many as you want. Winners will be announced on August 20, 2011, at the CSJDM Covered Court, during the “TATAK LCC: I Like” a culminight party of the college deartment of LCC, tickets@150, with free food, photo booth, dance competition and party all night.

In accordance with the proclamation of DepEd No. 1041 s. 1997, that states the annual celebration of the Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa every month of August, this year’s month long celebration of the Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2011-2012 theme is “Ang Filipino ay Wikang Panlahat, Ilaw at Lakas sa Tuwid na Landas”  from the  Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino (KMF).

The objective of this celebration is to instill to every students the value of our national language (Filipino) in our journey to the so called “tuwid na landas.” In line with this La Concepcion College will be actively conducting the following activities:

• Tagisan ng Talino sa Filipino
• Kompitisyon ng Sabayang Pagbigkas
• Lakan at Lakambini 2011-2012

July 30, 2011, Flair Wars III a bartending competition of the Bulacan Bartender Star Quest Association was held and La Concepcion College, is one of the competing schools in the said event.

We pride the following Hotel and Restaurant Students students for winning in the said competition:

Renelyn Flores (HRM II) – 2nd Placer, Best in Cocktail Garnish, Best in Attire and  Best in Concept

Teofilo De Luna (HRM II) – 4th Placer

Glen Denver Somera (HRM II) – 13th Placer and Best Performer

Krska Shelami Delos Santos (HRM II) – Best in Cocktail Recipe
